EARTHING SYSTEM MAKING & TESTING
A well-designed earthing system is the primary line of protection for any electrical/electronic installation from destructive fault current. The grounding/earthing system offers a low impedance path to the fault current resulting into the safety of personnel and equipment.
We can achieve this by two types of earth pit design as per IS 3043: 2018, IEEE 80: 2013, NBC 2016, UL 467:
1. Plate Earthing
2. Chemical Earthing (Maintenance Free earthing)
Material used (Cu or GI) and designed of earthing are varying as per soil condition & voltage level of equipment in which earthing is connected.
